A Simple, Practical, and Beautiful Way to Create Cherished Keepsake Books for Your Children

Because I want my children to open this book one day that’s about them through their childhood.

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn – a busy homeschool mom of 4. I know what it’s like to want to preserve those sweet, fleeting moments of childhood while juggling the endless to-dos of daily life. That’s why I created Memory Book Pages – to help parents easily turn our children’s milestones into keepsakes we (and eventually they) will cherish forever.

Following my mother-in-law’s example:

While my husband was going through a couple of boxes his dad found after moving out of their family home, he found a baby book that his late mom had written entries in through his life. Despite raising eight children, she had managed to document special moments and milestones.

I thought, “If she could do it with eight children, I certainly can find a way to create lasting memories for mine.”

That’s why I created these Memory Book Pages. They’re designed by a mom who understands the need for systems that actually work in real life.

Streamlining the memory book making process.

My templates aren’t complicated scrapbooking projects that will sit half-finished for years. They’re practical, organized pages that you can easily print and fill out (PDF version) or edit online and print (Canva template), then slip into a display book with page protectors.

About the Display Books – Purchase Separately

Note that you’ll need to purchase a display book with page protectors separately. I recommend a quality one that will last for years.

Recommended: This is the Amazon link for the exact books I use for my own children’s memory books. These come in a 4 pack! Heavy Duty Art Portfolio Folder with Clear Sheet Protectors, 8.5×11 – 4 Pack (affiliate link).

Budget Option: 3-ring binder or 3-prong folder with page protectors would work just fine. Durability would be the only issue worth considering.

Exceptional Option: Once completed, you could have each book bound professionally. However, I’d still recommend storing and maintaining the memory book pages in one of the two ways stated above.

All in all, this is your project! Be creative and figure out what works best for you.

We have a Printable PDF Package and a Canva Template Package to choose from. Bundle them both together to get both packages at the best price!

02

Fill Out the Pages

Create the pages of your memory book! Fill out the milestones, achievements, and special pages in the templates you purchased.

03

Assemble

My Simple Organization System

I keep a plastic drawer unit with a dedicated drawer for each child.

Whenever I collect a memento (ticket stub, certificate, program, artwork), I place it in that child’s drawer.

Periodically, I take out all the display books and transfer items from each drawer.

While I have the books out, I take a few minutes to fill in any special memories on the pages.

Anytime I think of something to include in a child’s book (like something funny they said), I either grab the book right then, or I make a note in my phone to add it to the book when I get the books out next time.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

Q: How many pages are included in the templates?

A: Each version (the PDF version and the Canva Template version) both have over 80 pages covering everything from birth information to yearly school pages, milestone events, and special memories.

Q: Do I need special software to use these templates?

A: For the PDF version, you only need a PDF reader to view and print the pages. For the Canva Template version, you’ll need a free Canva account to access and edit the templates.

Q: What size paper are the templates designed for?

A: All templates are designed for standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper, which fits perfectly in most display books with page protectors.

Q: Can I make copies for all my children?

A: Yes! Your purchase allows you to create as many copies as needed for your own children. The only restriction is sharing or redistributing the templates outside your immediate family.

Q: How do I print these pages?

A: You can print them at home on your own printer or take them to a local print shop or office supply store for printing. I recommend using a slightly heavier paper for durability, but regular paper will work just fine in page protectors.

Q: What type of display book do you recommend?

A: I recommend a quality display book with at least 30 page protectors. The specific one I use is linked here. Remember, the display book is not included with these digital purchases offered on MemoryBookPages.com! You’ll have to buy a display book separately.

Q: What if I make a mistake while filling out a page?

A: This is why many moms love the Canva version! You can edit and correct as needed before printing. For the PDF version, you can always reprint a page if needed.

Q: Do I need to be artistic or have good handwriting?

A: Not at all! The templates are designed to look beautiful even with simple handwriting. The structured format means you don’t need any artistic skills to create something meaningful.

Q: How long does it take to fill out?

A: That’s entirely up to you! You can fill pages in gradually over time whenever you have a few minutes, or set aside an hour to complete several pages at once.

Q: Will I receive something in the mail?

A: No, these are digital products. After you purchase, you’ll receive immediate access to download your templates. Nothing will be shipped to you.

Q: Can I use these for an older child or even an adult child?

A: Definitely! These templates work beautifully for creating memory books for children who have already grown up. Even empty-nesters can use them to compile memories into a memory keepsake book to give as meaningful gifts to their adult children.

Q: Do you offer refunds?

A: Due to the digital nature of these products, I don’t offer refunds. However, I’m happy to answer any questions you might have before purchasing.
